Vocabulary refresh

The February 2026 Athena release (v20260227) landed with major drug vocabulary updates across 11 vocabularies. Teams should review drug concept mappings before pulling the new vocabulary into staging.

OHDSI Study Agent demo

The OHDSI community previewed a Study Agent that can design, run, and interpret Strategus incidence rate analyses from an R session using natural language. Still in development, but worth watching.

ML + OMOP discussion

An active thread on best practices for coupling OMOP with ML metadata is exploring where model predictions and versioning metadata should live in the CDM.

MindMeetsMachines at OHDSI EU

The OHDSI EU Symposium (April 19) will feature a human-vs-AI concept mapping challenge — a practical test of automated vocabulary mapping quality.
